About Emma.
Emma brings 20 years of experience in the golf industry as both a high-level amateur player and a former Division I College Coach. She is currently an LPGA Class B Teaching Professional and TPI Level 1 Certified.
Emma’s passion for golf started at age 11 when she began competing in the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation throughout Australia, where she was born and raised. Following a successful junior career, she earned a full scholarship to Washington State University, where she played from 2009-2013.
After graduation, Emma continued playing amateur golf while working at a semi-private golf club in Australia. In 2014, she returned to the Palouse to start her coaching career as Washington State University’s first full-time women’s Assistant Coach. Emma was promoted to Associate Head Coach in the Fall of 2021. Following the 2023 season, she transitioned to a new role as the Director of Operations for the WSU men’s and women’s golf teams, as well as women’s tennis, which allowed her to spend more time with her family and focus on teaching private lessons.
While coaching, Emma continued her education through the LPGA Teacher Education Program and the Titleist Performance Institute. She believes that every golfer has an authentic swing that aligns with their body’s unique movement patterns. A lifelong learner, Emma is passionate about helping golfers of all levels, from beginners to experienced players, improve their games.
Off the course, Emma is married to Dustin White, the Head Men’s Golf Coach at Washington State University. Together, they have two sons, Finn and Archie, who they hope will one day share their love of golf.
